• Improve our production planning process to ensure the most efficient solutions to fulfilling customer requirements.

• Knowledge of batch optimization, labor variances, overhead variances, and activity based costing is mandatory.

• Knowledge of current trends in manufacturing equipment.

• Show familiarity with designing processes. Working knowledge and experience in process improvement, and identifiable experience with lean manufacturing.

• Manage entire order fulfillment process.

• Determine and maintain optimal inventory turns for raw materials and finished products.

• Effectively communicate production capabilities and scheduling to the organization ensuring that shipping, customer service, and the sales team are properly informed of status.

• Apply working knowledge of chemistry and experience with both liquid and dry product production.

• Ensure all subordinates are properly trained.

• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Microsoft Dynamics software experience is highly desired.
• Possess a high level of skill with Microsoft Office.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to effectively train and communicate with and manage direct reports.
• Ability to prioritize work to meet time sensitive deadlines in a very dynamic environment.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to represent Shepard Bros. in a professional manner.
• Three years’ of hands-on experience in production and planning.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent, and a minimum of
• Five years’ of related work experience.
• Knowledge of chemicals is preferred.
