We are seeking an experienced Regional Nurse Consultant to oversee and support clinical operations across three buildings in Dayton, OH, Kenton, KY, and two locations in Florida. The ideal Regional Nurse Consultant with prior regional nursing experience and ideal location will be in the Dayton or Cincinnati, OH market. There will be minimal travel requirements to Florida, but must be able to travel if the need arises. The Regional Nurse Consultant role involves ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, improving clinical practices, and enhancing patient care quality. Job Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred. Active RN license in Ohio or eligibility for licensure by endorsement. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in a regional or multi-site consulting role. Proven track record of improving clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance. Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality improvement methodologies. Ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Willingness to travel to Florida locations as needed. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Clinical Oversight and Support: Provide guidance and support to the nursing staff at each location. Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations. Implement and monitor clinical policies and procedures. Conduct regular site visits and audits to maintain high standards of care. Quality Improvement: Identify areas for clinical improvement and develop action plans. Lead quality improvement initiatives and track progress. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Promote best practices and evidence-based nursing care. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for nursing staff on new policies, procedures, and best practices. Mentor and support nursing leadership at each location. Coordinate continuing education opportunities for clinical staff. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with regulatory requirements. Prepare and assist facilities for state and federal inspections. Address and resolve compliance issues promptly. Communication and Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment among the clinical teams across all locations. Maintain open lines of communication with facility administrators and corporate leadership. Provide regular updates and reports on clinical operations and quality initiatives.
