Job Qualifications:
- NP license in the state of IL.
- Board Certification
- Clinical background in Psychiatric specialty.
- At least 1 year of experience in psychiatric specialty
As the psychiatric nurse practitioner, you will act as a Skilled Counselor Facility’s leading provider of psychiatric services. You will collaborate with the facility’s interdisciplinary team and physicians, serving as a day-to-day clinical leader while helping oversee the care of all of the facility’s patients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Examine patients and their medical records
- Duties will include routine and general psychiatric;
- Create an Advance care plan to patients;
- Prescribe appropriate medications, including controlled substances;
- Seeing a range of 16-40 patients a day.
