JOB SUMMARY
The Campus President is in charge of creating, planning, directing, and overseeing all activities necessary for the successful operation of the campus. Through short and long-term strategy and execution, the Campus President drives organizational objectives to achieve financial and academic success. The Campus President is in charge of building an atmosphere that engages campus workers, fosters quality education and administrative processes, fosters broad expansion, and ensures predictable financial success. The Campus President is ultimately responsible for the campus's operations and activities, as well as its' outcomes. The Campus President works within the College's scope of authority while supporting and adhering to an ethical code of conduct, best business practices and values.
The Campus President must understand the difference between activity and results, and must be results-oriented with the ability to achieve objectives via effective management of others. This skill necessitates the Campus President creating a student-focused atmosphere in which all campus employees are passionate about their responsibilities, understand campus goals, collaborate, and, most importantly, recognize the College’s purpose is to promote a positive student experience. As such, the Campus President must be skilled at fostering a team environment, developing the abilities of team members, and acting as a productive and positive administrator.
The Campus President's success depends on an atmosphere in which trust and quality of work are the outcomes of engaged campus employees that provide predictable operational and budgetary/financial results. The Campus President promotes organizational transformation to accomplish results and is the campus’ vision and strategies facilitator.
The Campus President must be able to effectively manage all demands of a complex for-profit education organization while using sound judgment and reasoning in decision-making, as well as act as a mentor and as facilitator of a healthy and lively work environment.
