Description
The Retail Education Manager is responsible for curriculum development, writing educational content and delivering customer training focused on the active individual trader. They will act as a strategist, content developer and presenter and will work closely with the Retail Sales and Marketing teams to ensure alignment of strategy and content focus.
The role requires a solid understanding of the futures markets and CME Group markets. The Retail Education Manager is responsible for creating content around product and trading strategies and need to possess the ability and skills to teach and distill complex situations in easy to understand language. They will have excellent writing, speaking, presentation and communications skills, ability to create curriculum and collaborates well with stakeholders.
This role reports to the Sr. Director, Education & Content Marketing.
Job Responsibilities
Partner with Retail Sales, Marketing and brokerage firms to align on strategy, planning and execution
Responsible for outlining curriculum to support futures and options education
Create content focused on trading strategies for trader development
Edit/write supporting educational content for video, articles and presentations
Proactively identify market trends and “in the moment” (daily/weekly) educational opportunities and create social posts/videos to capitalize on these educational opportunities
Manage content production via internal and external resources
Develop retail education strategy in collaboration with education lead, retail sales and marketing teams
Collaborate with education leads for APAC, EMEA and LatAm to support localization of retail education strategy and content needs
Help create and deliver training via CME Group hosted or partner educational events (in-person and/or online); manage and vet a network of external trainers to support program needs
Track and document training
Ability to conduct training themselves via in-person events or online webinars
Skills
Understanding of trading futures and familiarity with trading platforms
Ability to digest complicated topics and condensing the material into easy-to-understand content using everyday language.
Excellent writing, editing, communication and presentation skills
Strong collaboration and organizational skills
Familiarity with generative A.I. tools and LLMs (large language models) for content development
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Communications, or equivalent.
Work experience in finance and/or education
5-10 years of experience
Background in trading and/or brokerage, specifically futures markets
