Summary of Position:

Inspection, packing and shipping of finished products to customers. In addition, this position will shipper for the department.

Essential Duties:

• Inspect and ship all outgoing custom and stock products.
• Perform quality checks to ensure adherence to job ticket specifications.
• Verify product for color, material and/or type of adhesive.
• Communicate with CSV on any immediate shipping concerns that may affect on-time delivery.
• Review daily reports to ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Inform immediate Supervisor of key issues daily.
• Assist and help lead Improvement Initiatives.
• Set a good example for all employees by displaying an excellent work ethic, being a team member, and observing all company policies.
• Keep the work area and inventory area organized and clean, empty trash in area daily.

• To remain vigilant for/safeguard against sanitation, pest control and contamination concerns.

• It is the responsibility of all team members to ensure product integrity. Product should be monitored for signs of contamination or quality defect and issues segregated and reported.
• Verify the direction of the label, has the correct number of labels per roll and it is on the correct size core
• Select the correct size packaging box, assemble box(es) and packaging per product specifications.
• Place finished order on conveyor or pallet.
• It is the responsibility of all team members to ensure process integrity. Potential sources of contamination or impacts to performance or quality should be reported promptly.
• Do any other job the supervisor determines.
• Working with Microsoft Dynamics to pick and post shipments.
• Working with Clippership to process parcel, international and pallet shipments,

Training and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED

• Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.

• Subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, and climbing.
