Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of appliances, plumbing fixtures, and any other residential maintenance needs. We are also hiring painters to paint units between tenants.

Duties:

- Perform maintenance on units between tenants

- Painting and light carpentry on units (repaint between tenants, repair trim, doors or cabinets)
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing appliances and fixtures
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and address them proactively
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks
- Provide leadership and supervision to maintenance staff when necessary

Qualifications:
- Proficient in performing various maintenance tasks, including light plumbing, electrical, carpentry or paint/drywall
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
