The Warehouse/Logistics Manager position is a key role that includes overseeing the warehouse, inventory control, and material handling, as well as internal/external customer service, parts sales, transportation, and staff scheduling and supervision.

Essential Functions

• Plan and organize the Warehouse as a distribution center, focusing on efficiency in both operations and capacity
• Organize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary
• Coordinate and track the movement of goods out to field staff and customer sites
• Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule
• Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes
• Hire, train and evaluate performance of Warehouse Associates
• Schedule Warehouse Associates to meet demand of deliveries and incoming shipments
• Assist with shipping and receiving as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory controls
• Work directly with Department Managers and Project Managers on forecasting to ensure efficient operations
• Observe and enforce all safety rules and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time, exempt position. Standard days and hours of work for Warehouse operations and staff are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Required Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 4 or more years previous warehouse experience preferred
• Communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
• Supervisory skills

• Dependable and Reliable
• Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills

Preferred Education and Experience

• OSHA safety training
• Quality Management
• Deadline driven

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

• Criminal Background Check, PA Child Welfare clearance, and FBI fingerprinting clearance required
• DMV check
