Our Pre School Teachers take on a dynamic role that shifts between acting as a role model for the students and working to maintain a clean and safe classroom environment. Along with having a passion for excellence in child care, our Pre School Teachers also share a desire to spark imagination, build self-esteem and create an environment of discovery in each classroom. Typical responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, implementing the daily lesson plan, documenting learning activities and projects, joining students during meal and snack times to model table manners and working with the Director and Assistant Director to maintain school security at all times. Pre School Teachers will be expected to assist any classroom needed.

Qualifications of Lead Teacher/Assistant Teacher/Floater:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree preferred
• CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred
• 45 credit hours through DCF or willingness to meet qualification within 3 months of being hired
• At least the age of 18

This is an hourly position with weekly pay. Compensation is based upon experience. 30 hours available

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
