Established in 2007 in San Diego, California, Club Pilates has been committed to delivering transformative training experiences of exceptional quality. By innovating upon Joseph Pilates' original Reformer-based Contrology Method with cutting-edge equipment, we ensure our instructors are thoroughly prepared through extensive training. This enables them to offer the most effective Pilates workouts, adhering to the highest standards of teaching.

Position:

Employment begins when you are approved by the Master Trainer as an Apprentice Instructor, with the goal of becoming a certified Comprehensive Instructor. This position is designed to provide teaching for an average of 10 - 15 classes per week, as agreed upon, while completing your education.

Our Instructors will provide one-on-one classes as well as lead guided group classes for our clients.

Responsibilities:

● Complete the full 500 hour Club Pilates Education program

● Deliver one-on-one classes as well as group classes for up to 12 clients ● Providing Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards ● Instructing clients (up to 12 clients per class) using proper form and safe methods on a

variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, hand weights, etc. to ensure a safe, yet creative experience

● Conducting private, semi-private, demo or other additional sessions as needed ● Visually inspecting the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use

● Encourage and motivate clients throughout classes

● Assist Front Desk Staff and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed ● Maintaining a clean and orderly workout environment * Assisting with membership sales and checking clients in

● Building studio revenue by promoting retail and membership sales & services

Job starts out as part time but can become full time as you complete your Comprehensive Pilates education program. Certified Instructors can make between $28 and $43 an hour when teaching. Will discuss all details during the interview process.
