The ideal candidate will be POSITIVE and ENTHUSIASTIC, and have a passion for supporting our team and community. The right person for this job will have a love for investigating variances between our records and our vendor’s as well as a love for communicating effectively with our vendors to build strong relationships. If you are FRIENDLY and willing to learn, while building relationships with new and existing teammates, you'll be a great addition to our team!

We are a fairly young company that is growing at break-neck speeds, so things will change quickly, and we promise you will NEVER be bored! There will also be plenty of chances to help build out processes and procedures and to expand and elevate the existing ones!

We are only looking for teammates that reside in the Scottsdale/ Phoenix Arizona area and are able to be in our studio office five days a week Monday through Friday from about 8am to about 5pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Ensure confidentiality of the financial records.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies found recording and reconciling the financial records.
• Enter bills and credit card statements, according to their terms.
• Correspond professionally with vendors.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Reconcile all credit card and bank accounts.
• Gather data for weekly financial reporting.
• Gather data for weekly audits for our operations team.
• Support successful month-end closing process.
• Maintain and organize all financial paperwork.
• Assist with filling yearly 1099s.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Experience as Accounting Specialist - preferred 2 years experience
• General knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience in data collection, entry, and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
• Computer savvy with proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets
• Exquisite math and numerical skills and phenomenal interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns
• Sound decision making skills with the ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with specific deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent
