Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and accountable Registered Nurse (RN) to join, the largest health system in Michigan. As an Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neurology/Med Surg. Our unit operates at a higher acuity level, providing care to patients with diverse diagnoses, particularly focusing on neuroscience conditions such as traumatic brain injuries, stroke, and neurosurgery.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably in accordance with ANA standards and Michigan regulations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Uphold professional performance standards including ethical practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, and evidence-based practice.
• Provide high-quality care to patients with spine surgery, craniotomy, craniectomy, stroke, seizure, chronic headaches, and other neurological disorders.
• Manage a diverse patient population including those with fall risks, dementia, confusion, and behavioral/mental health concerns.
• Support both Med Surg and progressive units as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the State of Michigan prior to start date.
• Demonstrated competency in critical thinking and clinical skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal downtime.
• Completion of N95 mask fit test prior to start date.
• Out-of-state applicants must provide proof of licensure before the start date.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
