The product information Specialist owns data gathering, input and publications for Cloverdale and Blue Ribbon products.

The primary responsibility of the Product Information Specialist is to input, update, and maintain the one source of truth for all product specs. Exceptional organizational and technical skills are essential to the success of this position. You must be a detail-oriented, independent, and self-directed learner, and possess the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently. You must have the tenacity to find all relevant data, the focus to ensure data accuracy, and the confidence to publish data.

The role will be responsible for wearing multiple hats and must embody key principles to the Cloverdale culture: Family, Hungry, and Adventurer. The Product Information Specialist must possess the leadership ability to coordinate internal communications and be the bridge between operations and the Enterprise Data Governance Manager.

The Product Information Specialist must possess the ability to foster strong team collaborations with internal cross- functional partners (Sales, Operations, Finance) and out-of-town family members (aka remote teammates).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to gather, review and enter all essential details about new and existing products into internal ERP system. Ensure that product data is comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date.

• Maintain product specifications and manage compliance.

• Audit our brand owner table and present recommendations for updates to our brand owners.

• Pull reporting for Item Entities in our PIM/ERP and present brand updates at the Item level where appropriate.

• Work within a dedicated PIM/ERP system to maintain and enrich as needed classification, taxonomy, UPC, GTIN, EAN, MPN, NSN, SKU. Working with product vs variant dependencies in the product selection by physically validating technical specifications. Facilitate the generation of Global Trade Item Numbers (GTIN) and barcodes for new products in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Execute validation queries, data analysis, reports and PIM/ERP system testing to assist marketing team with reports specific to product selection.

• Digital Asset Management (DAM) as part of a wholistic PIM/ERP approach to enable push to channel or catalog as needed with image/product info standards in place.

• Conduct regular audits of product information to identify and rectify discrepancies, errors, or missing data. Implement quality control measures to ensure consistent and accurate product information across all platforms.

• Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and guidelines related to product information and data management. Ensure that our product information practices align with these requirements.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience
• ERP/PIM system experience preferred.
• Previous roles include: Product information specialist, experience in FS/Retail production/manufacture/distributor experience, item management
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Preferred Data Syndication / GDSN background.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.

• Advanced computer skills including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
