Clover Leaf Solutions is Hiring a Strategic IT Project Manager Near Amarillo, TX

Clover Leaf is looking for a Strategic IT Project Manager to join our growing team, on-siteat a DOE national laboratory, in Amarillo, TX. We are looking for people who can work as part of a team and individually.
The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing strategic IT projects from initiation to completion. Coordinates project teams, develops execution plans, and ensures successful project delivery within scope, schedule, cost, and quality constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulates project teams, develops execution plans, and sets project goals.
  • Guides complex IT projects through the full life cycle, ensuring delivery within agreed-upon constraints.
  • Creates and executes project execution plans, managing budgets and resources.
  • Effectively communicates with project teams, resolving conflicts and addressing project issues.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Briefs upper management regularly on project activities, cost, schedule, status, and technical performance.
  • Participates in departmental management processes, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Contributes to procurement deliverables for external services and materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline with a minimum of four years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera (P6) proven experience or equivalent tool.
  • Ability to work independently and to work effectively as part of a group with diverse backgrounds and skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, time management skills, organizational skills, and oral and written skills.
  • Understanding of risk management, risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Highly motivated with proven ability to develop, lead, and manage multiple concurrent and complex IT related infrastructure and/or application development projects in a fast paced, demanding business environment on time and within budget.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, a SAFE or Agile Project Management Certification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management best practices and processes such as those of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Knowledge and understanding of project lifecycle management and software development life cycle.
  • IT project leadership skills focused on control of the classic triple constraints of time, cost, and quality.
  • Ability to manage and direct the activities of multi-disciplinary teams consisting of IT technical personnel, functional personnel, and interfaces with internal and external customers, including management and stakeholders.
  • Ability to logically and systematically evaluate project and process problems to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Experience in conflict resolution with individuals or a team.
  • Must be willing to work onsite a minimum of 2 days per week.
  • Must be able to obtain a clearance and maintain the clearance.
  • A successful drug screening.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Scrum Master Certification.
  • Professional experience serving as a Scrum Master.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification.
  • ServiceNow experience with Agile Development and Project modules.
  • Professional experience executing agile projects.
  • Exercises initiative and independent judgment and discretion under limited supervision.
  • 20 years of relevant experience.
  • 10 years of DOE specific experience.
