Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various medical imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT scan, and sonography. - Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures by following proper protocols and maintaining aseptic technique. - Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and addressing concerns. - Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality images and adjust equipment settings as needed. - Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments or retaking images as necessary. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results for diagnosis and treatment planning. - Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks in the workplace. Skills: - Proficient in performing medical imaging procedures such as X-ray, CT scan, sonography, mammography, etc. - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to accurately interpret imaging results. - Familiarity with aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. - Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, explain procedures, and address concerns. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings. - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in image acquisition and documentation.
