Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Pay Range: $75000 to $130000 an year

Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in the medical/surgical unit, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the doctor
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical records
- Assist with physical examinations and procedures, such as cardiac catheterization and mammography
- Implement infection control measures to prevent the spread of diseases
- Utilize knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain aseptic technique during procedures and adhere to infection control protocols

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in OR
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing
- Proficient in medical records management and documentation
- Strong knowledge of ICU protocols and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
