Minimum Required Qualifications:

The minimum required qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• 1 years of equivalent experience preferred in the food industry and manufacturing facility.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended hours.
• Ability to climb and work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms.
• MUST wear a safety harness throughout the shift while working on unsecured heights.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, including overhead.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment.
• Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Must have well-developed organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle and follow through on multiple projects.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with limited supervision.
• Ability to work all assigned work schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and comply with all time and attendance policies.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Essential Job Functions:

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Sample all incoming milk and cream trucks.
• Unload tanker after testing is confirmed.
• CIP (Clean in Place) tanker. (Responsible for putting in sprayer on top of trucks.) Perform manual cleaning as necessary.
• CIP (Clean in Place) raw milk line circuits as necessary.
• Communicate with the HTST Operator as required.
• Check, fill, and clean CIP day tanks and systems as necessary.
• Enter necessary data into the process viewer.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• CIP, load, sample, and seal outgoing tankers.
• Perform limited maintenance as required.
• Follow all company GMPs and work consistently with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements.
• Perform related duties as required.
• Clean, set up, operate, and monitor equipment within a dairy production environment.
• Complete all required documentation and schedule quality checks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
• Collect the samples needed for quality assurance testing.
• Communicate with other departments, management, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may alter production efficiency.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clean, legible, and accurate format and completed with the required information.
• Ensure all required information is documented per SOPs.
• Analyze process and equipment performance data to improve quality, as well as troubleshoot.
• Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Follow all required work safety practices, including wearing all required PPE in designated areas and handling chemicals safely.
• Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs, and food quality related to designated areas.
• Report any food safety and food quality-related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Work overtime as assigned.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
