Job Summary:

We are a restaurant and cafe serving fresh 'California cuisine' - breakfast and lunch (every day) and dinner (thur - sun) in a beautiful and relaxing country setting with outdoor seating, orchard, and vegetable/herb gardens. Our customers are a mix of locals and tourists visiting the surrounding lakes, rivers and beautiful nature.
We are seeking a Server/Barista with professional, positive and friendly manner.

We are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take orders at the counter and prepare beverages - coffees, teas, fresh juices, wines, etc
- Operate cash register and POS system, update menus, cashing out end of day
- Serve customers, maintain clean and tidy dining room and terrace.
- Dish washing area - cleaning and polishing glasses and cutlery, sometimes plates.
- Work with team members - front and back of house - for a harmonious work environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers in a positive manner
- Knowledge of espresso machine and coffee making a plus
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Please note that all positions at our company are paid including training.

We offer hourly pay rates (16.00 to 18.00/hour) plus tip share which brings total wages to 20.00 to 25.00/hour, plus free staff meals when working, and 50% discount when dining as a customer. We aim to always have a positive 'family' work environment.

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
