Role Overview : As a Software Engineering Manager at ShareFile, you will lead a team of engineers at the forefront of developing the Client Collaboration experience. In this dynamic role, you will enjoy the freedom to strategically devise solutions, taking the helm in pioneering initiatives. Your primary focus will be on innovatively enhancing client-based processes, covering a spectrum of features including native e-signature, Document Workflows, Client Portals, and Request List capabilities. • Drive the Client Collaboration Vision:Partner with key stakeholders to define and execute the vision for our Collaboration platform.
• Build the Product:Unique opportunity to get in at the ground level to build a product and take it to market.
• Measure what Matters:Define the KPIs and metrics that matter to help communicate project and team status and identify areas of excellence and improvement.
• Technologist: Be aware of the newest trends and technologies and drive innovation in the team

Execution

• Incremental Delivery:Continuously deliver value to our customers through frequent releases of meaningful features.
• Product Ownership:Act not just as a people manager but as a product owner; driving measurable outcomes that improve our customer experience and impact the bottom line.
• Stakeholder Engagement:Establish a regular engagement cadence with critical cross-functional stakeholders such as other engineering teams, sales, marketing, and business operations.
• Build: Build high performing engineering teams by growing talent in the organization and hiring and retaining talent.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in Software Development with at least one traditionally back-end programming language such as C# or Go, and user-facing development using React, CSS, and JavaScript
• 3-5 years of experience leading software engineering teams of 6-10 engineers with hands on people management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical challenges and solutions to diverse audiences.
• Deep technical experience in software engineering, architecture, and systems design.
• Continuous learning mindset and a desire to develop a deeper understanding of the business.
