Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Closing Coordinator. As a Closing Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely completion of mortgage loan closings. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will be working closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate the closing process. Duties: - Coordinate and schedule loan closings with borrowers, title companies, and other parties involved - Review loan documents for accuracy and completeness - Prepare closing packages and ensure all necessary documents are included - Collaborate with underwriters and loan processors to resolve any outstanding issues or conditions - Communicate with borrowers to provide updates on the status of their loan closing - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies - Maintain accurate records of all closing activities Qualifications: - Previous experience in mortgage loan processing or related field preferred - Familiarity with bank or mortgage servicing operations - Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and Fair Housing regulations - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Proficient in basic math calculations and credit analysis - Familiarity with FNMA guidelines is a plus We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development.
