Closets by Design is Hiring a CAD Designer Near Norcross, GA

Closet/Cabinet Technical Designer

$1500 Sign On Bonus (paid through out 90 day probation period.)

Closets By Design is looking to add a Pre- Production Technical Designer to our team. Knowledge of Cabinet Vision and cabinetry production is helpful but not required.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create production files from hand drawn designs via Cabinet Vision to produce closet components on the CNC router. Designs are created by our Design Consultants, and it is the responsibility of the cut-lister to make the modification necessary to produce the project, including the following tasks:

  • Review of Design for completeness
  • Communication with Design Consultants and Production to assure all required data to manufacture and install is correct
  • Specify and order non production parts to support the build requirements of projects
  • Update design software with new accessories and processes
  • Communication with Installers when questions arise.

Requirements: Associates degree or better in CAD or one year CAD experience.
