Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Technician to join our team. As a Machine Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of machinery and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Factory certified training will be provided to the right individual.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machines, specifically wood-cutting equipment such as CNC Routers, Edgebanders and Machining Centers.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems or areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of machinery
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications or training preferred
  • Proven experience as a Machine Technician or similar role in an industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Experience with CNC machinery (wood or metal) and associated components is highly desirable
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
