INVENTORY CONTROL ASSOCIATE

Position Description:
The Inventory Associate works with the Production Manager in overseeing and maintaining the supply of materials and accessories, ensures that company inventory remains balanced, restocks supplies, assists in maintaining inventory records,

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of an Inventory Associate
•Counts store inventory & maintain logs of all products and supplies.
•Checks actual store inventory against computerized records.
Unloading inventory from delivery truck & receive deliveries.
•Organizes inventory in stock room & restocks merchandise as necessary.
•Writes up inventory reports detailing any overstock or missing items.
•Ensures that stock room is clean and well organized. •Pulls any defective or incorrect material for review and/or return.
•Submits orders for replenishment of inventory.
•Reviews shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
•Assists Production Manager in devising new ways to reduce shrink and maintain inventory control

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
• Minimum of two years of related experience in retail, wholesale, warehousing, or logistics.
•Physical ability to lift, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch repeatedly.
•Works well with a team in a fast-paced environment managing time efficiently.
•Communicates clearly and effectively- demonstrating professional and polite demeanor.

•Proficient with computers and other standard office technology.

•Superior organizational and communication skill.
