We are currently looking to add to our staff to manage our increased volume. We are looking to add a cross trained staff member to provide support to multiple areas of our production facility and fill in as needed to assist with bottlenecks that develop from different types of projects.

Quality work is a must. Hustle is a must. A person who likes to hustle and keep moving all day to make the day fly by is the ideal candidate for this job.

Duties (with training) will include, but are not limited to, checking material quality and production parts, by project, prior to leaving our facility (Quality Control), staging parts as the come off various machines to increase the speed and effectiveness of our machine operators, gathering and preparing accessories and parts for jobs prior to QC, drawer prep for the drawer assembler, and end of day shop maintenance/cleaning.

Additional possible assigned tasks include receiving board inventory as it arrives - forklift operation , dumping dust collection systems, basic machine maintenance, and other duties as assigned.

Must be able to learn (with training) to read design plans and measure (imperial/metric) accurately to verify manufactured parts.

Must be able to safely move 50lbs independently. Must be comfortable asking for assistance with team lift when moving anything over 50lbs.

Cross training in the factory is required. Must be willing to do tasks assigned, including but not limited to, assisting any station as needed, assisting co-workers with moving large materials for cutting, parts delivery to jobs sites, recycling deliveries, and shop cleanup and organization.

Must be able to learn (with training) to safely use a sliding table saw, power tools, and modern manufacturing equipment (i.e.. CNC machine, Edge Bander).

Need to be able to ask for clarity to be sure you know what to do vs think you know and be wrong.

Ability to read a metric tape measure a plus, but not required. This can be trained.

The right candidate will support the team, help improve shop production, and learn many different stations in the shop. When cross trained, this candidate can make more money.

Pay increases based on performance, attitude, and reliability. Pay scale is expected to exceed $20 /hr for the right type of employee, when able to operate in multiple spaces and run equipment at full speed with quality production outcomes.
