Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Handle cash and credit card transactions using the POS system
- Assist with setting up and breaking down banquet events as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts, taxes, and tips
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Food handling certification is a plus, but not required
