Qualifications

Position Summary

Performs general clerical, secretarial, and unit clerk duties in accordance with established procedures of Clive Behavioral Health.

Mental Health Technician Unit Coordinator Requirements :

Maintains supply and accuracy of all forms and patient packets.

Effectively communicates with patients, family members, co-workers and any contacts in a professional and courteous manner.

Answers phone within 3 rings and directs calls and messages appropriately.

Accurately analyzes, interprets and transcribes physician orders.

Files information accurately within the medical record / hospital filing system.

Ensures Releases of Information are faxed in a timely basis while maintaining HIPAA and Clive protocol.

Completes the Census form daily for accuracy.

Ensures employees in department have a mailbox and removes termed employee mailboxes.

Assists Supervisor with clerical support to assure needs of unit are satisfied.

Performs various other duties as assigned or requested.
