Clive Behavioral Health is seeking a talented and dynamic Director of Intake and Assessment to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!

Clive Behavioral Health opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at this location focuses on crisis management, stabilization and development of a plan to return to community living with, if needed, supportive outpatient services and community services and resources.

Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, mental health, or related field required. Will also consider candidates that possess a graduation from an accredited program of professional nursing.

Experience: A minimum of five (5) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting desirable. Working knowledge of the Addiction & Recovery field and experience in clinical interviewing, patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, communicating with external review organizations or comparable entities, and working effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.

Must have strong management skills with ability to effectively communicate with staff, ensuring proper employee performance management.

Licensure: R.N., L.I.S.W., L.M.S.W., LPC or applicable license.

Additional Requirements: Complete knowledge of crisis intervention techniques. Trained VDE, HWC and CPR. Certification training may be offered during new hire orientation.
