**Overview:**

The Unaccompanied Children Services Program serves children/youth presenting a range of challenging behaviors, especially those related to symptoms of trauma. The Program’s services are provided by bilingual (Spanish/English) staff who receive specialized training in the special needs of refugee children. The program provides a safe, therapeutic environment in a family-like setting that addresses the requirements of each child/youth in a manner that is sensitive to his or her age; preserves cultural, ethnic and religious heritage; and meets dietary needs, native language, sexual orientation, gender identity, and other critical individual needs.

**Responsibilities:**

• Carry an assigned caseload of a minimum of 12 cases.
• Conduct mental health assessments
• Provide ongoing individual and group counseling
• Screen for human trafficking concerns
• Provide crisis intervention services
• Perform ongoing case analysis
• Participate in ongoing training
• Participate in case conferences
• Will be assigned to cover on week-ends on a rotating basis. Covering clinician will be expected to come on site to complete intakes/assessments for new admissions or be available by phone for emergencies with children needing clinical intervention.\
• Perform other duties as requested

**Qualifications:**

• Knowledge of child welfare/child protective services
• Experience with Evidence-Based Models
• Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills
• Effective communicator with excellent writing and speaking skills
• Proficiency in Spanish required
• Master in Social Work or related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
