Our client a reputable nonprofit organization in Brewster, NY is seeking compassionate individuals to join the team as Direct Support Professionals (QIDP). As a Direct Support Professional(QIDP), you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily activities and fostering their independence.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate all aspects of care for client to ensure active treatment is provided on an ongoing basis
- Provide oversight, coordination, supervision and evaluations of operations of assigned programs/sites
- Implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs
- Conduct observations to ensure quality services
- Coordinate client's services with Care Manager and other providers
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field required
- AMAP certified (preferred)
- NY driver's license
- Understanding of behavioral management techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Supervisory experience (is a huge plus)
