Clinical & Support Options is Hiring a Family Support Worker (Case Manager) - Northampton Near Northampton, MA

CSO is looking for a Family Support Worker (Case Manager) to join our Family Support Services team in Northampton.

CSO provides a Professional and supportive work environment, unrivaled onsite training, meaningful and supportive supervision, flexible schedules and a strong team environment.

You Will:

  • Provide skills training and assistance in areas of daily living activities including basic living, interactive and parent skills. Assist in developing communication and conflict resolution skills and act as a role model for interpersonal relationships.
  • Help parents meet children's daily needs; observe and document child growth and development.
  • Assist with family advocacy needs; facilitate "mediation" as appropriate.
  • Provide counseling and intensive support to clients during psychiatric crises or periods of transition.
  • Assist consumer with identifying appropriate mental health and medical services and accessing services of choice.
  • Provide assistance with developing and maintaining a "natural support network" of family and friends.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a mental health field
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, (English/Spanish speaking.)
