Clinical & Support Options is Hiring a Co-Response Clinician, Ashfield Near Greenfield, MA

CSO is looking for aCo-Response Clinician for our Emergency Services Team to support Ashfield andsurrounding towns.

The Co-ResponseClinician sits at the Ashfield Police Department and responds with lawenforcement to 911 calls by providing urgent evaluation, crisis assessment andintervention to individuals experiencing a mental health emergency.

You Will:

  • Activelyparticipate in 911 and emergency calls at the direction/request of partneringpolice departments.
  • Providebehavioral health assessments to individuals and families in crisis whoencounter the police.
  • Provideinitial crisis intervention services to individuals in need, along with crisiscase management and short-term crisis counseling as follow-up from initialintervention, when appropriate.
  • Provideleadership in development of co-response model and represent the program in aprepared and professional manner at community events, task forces, and publicspeaking engagements.
  • Developand maintain a thorough knowledge of managed care and health insurance systems;provide other clinicians with managed care information and resources pertinentto the crises being managed.

Your Background:

  • Clinical Master's degree(required)
  • Clinical license orlicense eligibility as well as Clinical experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver's licenseand reliable transportation required.
  • Bilingual candidates arestrongly encouraged to apply, (English/Spanish speaking.)
