An amazing new opportunity for a VP Quality has become available at a large sized, 350 bed acute care hospital. This hospital is among one of the most highly respected facilities in Northern California for their state-of-the-art technology an high quality of patient care standards.
This VP Quality has a huge responsibility in the overall functionality of the medical system. Overseeing a Director, Manager, and multiple staff level RN's while reporting up to the CEO, the Sr. Director must be experienced with at least 10 years of history in a similar position. The hospital is also specifically looking for a registered nurse to fill this role, but will potentially look past this for a rock star candidate with all of the experience that applies! Some of the responsibilities of the VP may include, but are not limited to;
- Establish appropriate hospital / health plan oversight with the systems executive leadership team and department heads
- Lead the entire quality and patient safety efforts related to electronic medical records
- Provide leadership to all team members as the hospitals patient safety officer
- Develop an overall financial plan with the facility managers while ensuring that both short and long term goals are being met
