The VP of Nurse Education reports to the VP of Nursing and will collaborate with RN Directors daily. You will also frequently meet with Inpatient RN Managers to build unit-based Education Plans that follow best practice standards. Your primary responsibilities revolve around building a team of confident RN Educators to foster the continuous professional growth of nursing staff. This includes overseeing educational programs, ensuring competency-based learning, and collaborating with nursing schools to design engaging curricula. 

Candidates with their MSN and/or experience as a Nurse Educator, CNS, CNL, or Nurse Leader will receive quick interviews at this prestigious medical center. An RN Educator who has been part of a Magnet journey with a previous organization is also a plus. Knowledge of JCAHO, AHA, and ANCC Standards of Nursing Practice and Staff Development is also preferred. Nurse Educators with RN-BC, including CNOR, CCRN, RN-ONC, MEDSURG-BC, and NPD-BC or other specialty certifications are advantageous.
