The Surgical Services Nurse Educator will join a 300 bed medical center and will play an integral role in this hospital's Nurse Education team. The Surgical Services Nurse Educator will work alongside multiple Unit Nurse Managers while implementing educational programs. The Nurse Educator will work with Registered Nurses in the Operating Room, Pre/Op and PACU. The Nurse Educator will lead a variety of training activities and ensure core competencies are completed. The Surgical Services Nurse Educator will function as a resource throughout their department and will promote professional development of the nurses in their speciality. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Surgical Services and will also have experience working as a Preceptor or Nurse Educator.
