The Perioperative Nursing Director will report directly to the CNO. They will oversee 11 OR suites, 2 Endoscopy Rooms, 2 Cath Lab suites, Pre-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Sterile Processing Department. The Perioperative Nursing Director will be expected to oversee total operations and support a work environment where there is effective communication, collaboration, efficiency, and growth. They will oversee all surgical staff to effectively maintain and achieve positive patient outcomes and satisfaction. The Surgical Services Nurse Director will adhere to AORN standards, state and federal regulations, devise and implement the unit budget, and improve growth and development. They should have their BSN, at least 5 years of Surgical Services experience with progressive leadership experience.
