This Trauma Coordinator RN will join an established team of individuals in this busy, level 1 trauma center ED. This RN will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating all trauma services for trauma patients within the emergency department. Responsibilities include organizing multidisciplinary plan of care, promoting/facilitating interdisciplinary communication in regards to patient care, overseeing quality of care delivery, and assisting with performance and quality improvement initiatives as they pertain to patients care/journey through trauma services in the hospital.
It is required that this Nurse Coordinator have previous clinical experience in Emergency Services, with at least 1 years of coordinator experience. This RN must possess their BSN and current NYS RN licensure. Previous Level 1 Trauma experience is REQUIRED.
