As an RN Oncology Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting bedside nurses, driving quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of safe and effective oncology care. You'll collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices, while serving as a mentor and resource for nursing staff.

Requirements:

  • Education: Current New York State License and a minimum of a Baccalaureate in Nursing (BSN)
  • Certifications: OCN certification highly preferred
  • Experience: Prior acute care hospital experience, with at least 2 years of clinical experience in oncology or related areas.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated management/leadership experience, ability to act as a professional role model, and excellent communication skills.
  • Clinical Excellence: Ability to provide safe, optimum patient care, with sound problem-solving and judgment skills.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing situational needs.
