Located in Western Illinois, this hospital boasts an 18-bed inpatient Acute Rehab program accredited by CARF. This skilled team specializes in treating a wide range of impairments, with an emphasis on maximizing health and independence, this rehab unit provides intensive nursing care 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Key Responsibilities:

• Innovative Practices: Introduce and implement cutting-edge nursing practices based on evidence and best practices.
• Effective Communication: Foster open communication and problem-solving at both unit and organizational levels.
• Staff Management: Recruit, select, orient, and retain nursing staff, ensuring compliance with professional standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Budget Management: Develop, utilize, evaluate, and adjust budgets to ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering their professional development and growth.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an RN School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of related nursing experience and 3 years of progressive nurse leadership experience.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Licensure/Certifications: Current Illinois RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing, National Nursing Leadership Certification, and Related Nursing Specialty Certification.
