As the PACU Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the PACU and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Duties will include:

• Providing leadership and direction to the PACU nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
• Ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care in the PACU, including monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and addressing any complications that may arise.
• Developing and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care
• Managing staffing levels and allocate resources efficiently to meet patient care needs while controlling costs.
• Other duties as assigned

The ideal RN Manager Post Anesthesia Care Unit candidate will meet the following requirements: 

• NYS Registered Nurse License required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, Master's preferred
• 4 years of experience in Perioperative/Surgical Services
