A leading hospital in the boroughs of NYC is looking for its next PACU Nurse Director.

Reporting directly to the CNO, the PACU Nurse Director will be Supported by several tenured Charge Nurses and Nurse Managers. This person will lead a fantastic team and busy department.
The Perioperative Nurse Director, along with the DON, will be responsible for overseeing the nursing care in the pre-operative areas, operating room, and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). This includes ensuring that the staff members follow the hospital's policies and remain up-to-date with the latest best practices. The role requires collaborating with the CNO and other hospital managers and directors to achieve maximum clinical and operational efficiency in accordance with the hospital's standards and principles. Furthermore, the Perioperative Nurse Director will have the opportunity to create and manage departmental budgets, as well as provide training and programs for quality improvement to their team.
