The Acute Care Hospital RNFA will be responsible for assisting surgeons in the operating room. They must be knowledgeable of human anatomy and they should pay attention to detail and remain vigilant by keeping strict sterile techniques. The Surgical First Assistant must remain calm and composed in stressful situations, provide top quality care, stay up to date on education, hospital and unit based competencies.
Requirements for this position include an active NC state RN license, Certified Operating Room Registered Nurse, Bachelor's degree, and at least 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital operating room.
