A well-established medical center is searching for an experienced and team oriented Psychiatric Nurse Manager to join their team. The Psychiatric Nurse Manager will join a 250 bed medical center in the heart of Orange County.
The Psychiatric Nurse Manager will report to the Director of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer and will oversee a tenured team of Nurse Supervisors, Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. The Nurse Manager will provide expert leadership and guidance to Behavioral Health Department at this hospital. The Nurse Manager will ensure that their team is up to date on their clinical competencies and will actively engage in clinical quality improvement tasks. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience running a reputable department by managing staffing needs and monitoring the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience working in Behavioral Health in an acute care setting and have had some progressive leadership experience.
