An award-winning, academic healthcare system that has been nationally-recognized for excellent pre- and post-natal care is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Women & Infant Services Registered Nurse to fill their opening for a PM Labor and Delivery Charge Nurse Leader.The Labor and Delivery PM Charge Nurse Leader will be joining a reputable, community owned Hospital located on a beautiful campus. This medical center has been serving Portland and its surrounding community for over 40 years and are excited for a new leader to join their Women & Infant Services team.

The Labor and Delivery PM Charge Nurse Leader will be pursuing an amazing opportunity with a hospital that has earned an impressive Leapfrog Top General Hospital Award, and has earned designations for being a Primary Stroke Center as well as a Baby-Friendly Hospital. As Labor and Delivery PM Charge Nurse Leader with this 170 patient bed hospital, this nursing leader will report directly to the Women’s and Children’s Nurse Manager and will be leading a Women’s Unit with 14 Labor and Delivery Rooms, a Level III NICU, and Pediatric patient beds. The Labor and Delivery PM Charge Nurse Leader will provide leadership to 90 FTEs consisting of Registered Nurses, Techs, Anesthesiologists, and other well-tenured healthcare professionals. Experience as a charge nurse, unit supervisor, or assistant nurse manager will provide a strong background for a candidate looking to pursue this role!

Additional job responsibilities expected of the Labor and Delivery PM Charge Nurse Leader include directing patient care, managing a high performing team, consulting with staff, and interpreting hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.
