Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Perioperative Nursing Director will oversee a busy Surgical Services Department. Assisting this Leader will be a Manager Perioperative Services, Supervisor, and CNOR Charge Nurses. Working closely with the Perioperative Medical Director, the Nursing Director will ensure scheduling and quality markers are met.

This busy Perioperative Department sees many patients in its state-of-the-art unit. On a routine basis, there are multiple in use using robotic technology in different surgeries. The Department encompasses a talented team of RNs, CNAs, and Medical Providers. The Perioperative Nursing Director manages all areas of Perioperative Services, including Sterile Processing (SPD) and Pre and Post-Operative Care Units. 

Besides ensuring adequate staffing and adherence to protocols and procedures, the Perioperative Nursing Director ensures regulatory compliance. This includes survey preparedness and maintenance of quality metrics. This Director manages financial budgeting and allocation of resources.
