Reporting to the PICU Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager will lead clinical and administrative operations in a busy department and oversee up to 30 FTEs. Supported by an outstanding CCRN Certified Nurse Supervisor and an amazing team of Critical Care Staff RNs. The Assistant Nurse Manager will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supporting the staff's ability to meet patient needs. This will include developing and supporting educational initiatives, serving as a mentor to new leaders, preceptor for new nurses and nursing students, and being a champion for quality improvement throughout the department. The PICU Assistant Manager will also take on administrative duties in the department, including oversight and maintenance of the budget, recruitment and retention of staff.

California licensed, BSN prepared, previous experience working in inpatient PICU at a Level III Trauma Center and ALCS certified will score you a quick interview!
