This role will report up to the Surgical Services leadership team, including the Manager and Director of the department. The CVOR Surgical Tech will join an outstanding unit of techs, nurses, and physicians. Supported by Nursing Supervisors, resource nurses and trained circulating nurses, the Surgical Tech takes oversight of a high performing department. The Surgical Technologist will evaluate and coordinate activities during surgical procedures by anticipating surgeons needs and necessary supplies. The CVOR Surgical Tech will also be responsible for scrubbing in and assisting surgeons with various types of surgical procedures by maintaining current knowledge of various procedures and supplies. Knowledge and Adherence to proper surgical procedures of aseptic technique and safety in the use of instruments and equipment in a must. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of CVOR Surgical tech experience.
