Supported directly by experienced Charge Nurses, Nurse Educators and fellow Coordinators, they will play a vital role in the clinical operations for this department. 

The Operating Room Nurse Coordinator will help coordinate day-today tasks within a busy inpatient surgical department which offers procedures to treat a wide variety of cases. This Specialty Coordinator will oversee the several specialties including Robotics and GYN surgery. The ideal candidate will have experience in robotic surgery and will be highly knowledgeable about DaVinci Robotic Surgical Systems. This team of front-line caregivers, made up of tenured Operating Room Nurses, Surgical Techs, and Board Certified Surgeons, are the real heroes, playing a vital role in ensuring this unit runs smoothly. The Operating Room Nurse Coordinator will also work to ensure that their team is up to date on their clinical competencies and will actively engage in clinical quality improvement tasks. This Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for the smooth operation of multiple surgical suites and make sure that their team is running efficiently.
