If you're passionate about nursing education and professional development, this is the perfect role for you. Basic Life Support Instructor certification is required, and ACLS and PALS certification is preferred. Certification in a relevant clinical area and/or Nursing Professional Development within one year of hire is also desired. You must hold a current unrestricted New York State Nursing License and be an active participant in professional organizations such as the National Nursing Staff Development Organization and ANA.
