An award-winning community hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead their Emergency Department.
This hospital is part of a small health system compromised of two hospitals and more than 30 medical specialties and primary care, to provide comprehensive healthcare throughout Central Washington. This hospital houses just under 200 beds and offers a wide range of medical services including emergency care, oncology care, surgical services, behavioral health services, neurosciences, heart and vascular care, and much more!
The Nurse Manager will oversee the daily operations of the department and provide effective leadership to nursing staff. They will also develop and implement educational programs, ensuring ongoing professional development and competency of nursing personnel. The Nurse Manager will be involved with recruitment, hiring, and orientation of staff and foster a positive and collaborative work environment. They will also monitor and staff performance, and offer personnel guidance and coaching for professional growth.
What makes you stand out:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency nursing, with demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities.
- At least 1 year of prior leadership experience in Emergency Nursing
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
