The Nurse Manager of the ICU will report directly to the Director of Critical Care Services and collaborate closely with other nursing leaders and interdisciplinary teams within the hospital.
Our Trauma ICU is a specialized unit dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with severe burns and traumatic injuries. Equipped with advanced technology and staffed by skilled healthcare professionals, our unit delivers expert care to patients during their most critical moments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the ICU, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices and standards.
- Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to professional growth and development.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize patient care delivery and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and hospital leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives, quality improvement projects, and evidence-based practices.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and hospital administration to address patient care needs, operational issues, and regulatory compliance requirements.
